🧾 SUMMARY

Skarberg Sales & Marketing is a local, family-owned manufacturer sales representative agency specializing in representing consumer electronics brands such as Sony, GE, PNY, and Marshall Speakers, with key wholesale accounts in the Pacific Northwest, including Amazon, Costco, and Fred Meyer.

Over the decade prior to my hiring, Amazon transitioned from a minor account to the agency’s primary focus, reflecting the platform’s explosive growth—particularly in the consumer electronics sector. This shift required a fundamental change in business strategy, as managing brands on Amazon proved to be far more data-driven than the traditional, relationship-based brick-and-mortar approach.

Recognizing this need, the agency brought me on as Business Intelligence Analyst to establish a structured, data-driven approach to managing our brands’ Amazon businesses. My role centered on ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, warehousing and analyzing large volumes of Amazon Vendor Central data, and developing insights to assess the status, health, and performance of each brand. Additionally, I focused on pattern and trend analysis to uncover new business opportunities and created concise, visually intuitive reports and dashboards to communicate key findings to stakeholders.

This role was an exciting challenge, as it blended logic and creativity—a balance in which I thrive. It also provided the opportunity to expand beyond data management into analysis, reporting, and digital merchandising, deepening my understanding of both ecommerce strategy and visual communication.
